The way family physicians provided care to patients changed during the COVID-19 pandemic. Family physicians provided some of their care “virtually” using the telephone or video instead of meeting with patients in their offices. In this project, Bridget will interview patients and family physicians to learn: 1. how family physicians can provide patients with compassionate care during virtual visits? and 2. what is the right combination of virtual and in-person care to make sure family physician care is compassionate? Then she will meet with patients and family physicians to share what she learned. Patients and family physicians will discuss their ideas and give us recommendations about making virtual care a part of overall compassionate family physician care
