Patient-reported outcome measures (PROMs) are standardized instruments that systematically document a patient’s perspective of their quality of life. Voxe is an electronic PROM (ePROM) platform app for youth with chronic conditions that illuminates underlying concerns that are often missed in clinical encounters. Currently, healthcare providers (HCPs) can use Voxe to view PROM data, yet no automated process identifies actionable patterns within results. Samantha aims to develop “Smart Alerts”, notifications generated by artificial intelligence (AI) to alert HCPs about significant changes in PROM results. The objective is to explore the impact of Voxe “Smart Alerts” on HCPs, patients and compassionate care.
