2024 Advancing Women’s Health with AI Event

On November 7, AMS Healthcare and the University of Ottawa hosted a thought-provoking event titled “Advancing Women’s Health with AI: Insights and Innovations” at the University of Ottawa. The event featured leading professionals in the field, including Amy Hsu from the University of Ottawa, Sharon McGee from The Ottawa Hospital, and Monica Parry from the University of Toronto, who discussed the transformative potential of AI in women’s health. All of the speakers have received funding from AMS Healthcare’s Compassion and AI initiative, which supports their innovative work in this important area.

The session opened with introductory remarks from Kumanan Wilson, CEO and Chief Scientific Officer at Bruyère Research Institute, and Vanessa Gruben, Director of the University of Ottawa’s CHLPE. Together, they provided valuable insights into the intersection of technology and healthcare.
